Phase two of the robotic spraying system renovation project at Iran Khodro's Paint Shop No. 2 was successfully implemented during Nowruz 1404 (March–April 2025), thanks to the efforts of TAM Iran Khodro experts.
Despite technical challenges, time constraints, and strict production requirements, this phase reached the production stage 45 days ahead of the planned schedule and was officially handed over as a provisional delivery on April 29th (9 Ordibehesht).
The main objective of this project was to replace outdated machinery—with over 20 years of operational life—with advanced and modern robots. This upgrade not only improved the quality of the paint spraying operations but also led to significant savings in paint and energy consumption. Furthermore, it resolved the ongoing issue of sourcing spare parts for the old equipment.
