Air Separation Unit Commissioned at Bardsir Steel Making Complex

Air Separation Unit Commissioned at Bardsir Steel Making Complex
Construction of Bardsir ASU is an achievement for TAM through which acquired another outstanding experience in erection of air separation plants.

This project has been accomplished amidst executive challenges and sanction-related financial problems. The Inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of SISCO authorities as the main client of this project.

ASU separates atmospheric air into its primary components, produces nitrogen and oxygen and argon.

Bardsir ASU works with the Chinese Fortune Co. technology by the method of fractional distillation with the capacity of 7500 Nm3/h oxygen, 2000 Nm3/h nitrogen and 80 Nm3/h nitrogen argon.

The production method used in this plant is the best one from the quantity and quality point of views. Bardsir ASU produces high purities of oxygen 99.5%, nitrogen 99.9% and argon with the purity of 99.999%. This plant is capable of producing products in both gaseous and liquid forms.
