Irankhodro was established in 1341 with the goal of manufacturing cars and related vehicle parts as well as sell and export of products. The founders of the company were Mr. Ali Akbar Khayami, Mr. Mahmood Khayami, Mr. Ahmad Khayami, Ms. Marzyeh Khayami, and Ms. Zara Sayedi Rashti who established the company with its headquarter in the Ekbatan St. in Tehran. After 45 years from its establishment, Irankhodro is now the biggest OEM manufacturer in the country and manufactures a variety of cars, trucks, buses, and minibuses. The company has an active international presence and is manufacturing its national Samand brand, a strongly built four-door sedan, in several countries around the glob. Irankhdoro as number 1 manufacturer of vehicles inside the country has consistently maintained its 65 to 70 percent market share during past years. According to financial data in the end of 1381, company had 2,404,687,500 outstanding shares with share value of 1000 Rials bringing the company’s market capitalization to 2,404,687,500,000 Rials.
Around ten years ago in 1376 Irankhodro by producing 1, 11,111 cars and trucks broke its thirty years production record and significantly increased its quality of production.
In 1384 company’s production reached to 500,000 units, company was able to become ISO9001 certified, and since has also become an ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified company.
